Gr8ful Prayers exists to create a safe, encouraging, and faith-centered community for prayer, support, and care. These Community Guidelines define the expectations for participating on the platform.
1. Our Commitment
We are committed to fostering a community built on:
- Respect — honoring the dignity of every person
- Encouragement — uplifting others through prayer and support
- Safety — maintaining a secure and harassment-free environment
- Authenticity — promoting genuine, good-faith participation
- Privacy — treating prayer requests and personal stories with care
2. Acceptable Use
You are encouraged to:
- Share prayer requests in good faith
- Offer prayer, encouragement, and support to others
- Engage respectfully within communities
- Respect the privacy and consent of others
- Report unsafe or inappropriate content when you see it
3. Prohibited Content & Behavior
The following are not allowed on Gr8ful Prayers:
Harmful Conduct
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Threats or promotion of violence
- Exploitation of vulnerable individuals
- Targeted shaming or unwanted repeated contact
Hate & Discrimination
- Hate speech or discriminatory content based on race, religion, gender, identity, disability, nationality, or other protected characteristics
Integrity Violations
- Spam, scams, or deceptive practices
- Misrepresentation or impersonation
- Coordinated misuse of prayer, reporting, or community tools
Privacy Violations
- Sharing someone else’s prayer request, personal information, or sensitive story without permission
- Using information from Gr8ful Prayers to contact, target, or harass someone outside the platform
Inappropriate Content
- Explicit, offensive, sexually inappropriate, or graphic material
- Content that is illegal or encourages illegal activity
4. Sensitive Situations and Crisis Support
Gr8ful Prayers is a spiritual support platform. It is not a substitute for:
- Emergency services
- Medical advice
- Mental health crisis support
- Professional counseling or legal advice
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services right away.

5. Blocking and Reporting
Users can report content or behavior that appears to violate these guidelines.
Users can also block other users. Blocking helps prevent direct interactions between users, but it does not remove shared community prayer requests that remain visible under normal community permissions.
Blocking and reporting are separate actions. You may block, report, or do both.
6. Enforcement Approach
We take a structured, proportional approach to moderation:
- Remove — We remove content that clearly violates these guidelines.
- Reduce — We may limit the visibility of content that is borderline, potentially harmful, or disruptive.
- Inform — We may provide warnings, education, or guidance to encourage appropriate behavior.
- Restrict — We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for repeated or serious violations.
7. Moderation and Review
We may use a combination of automated systems, community reporting, and human review to detect and enforce violations.
We reserve the right to:
- Remove content
- Restrict or suspend accounts
- Investigate misuse of the platform
- Preserve relevant records for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance
8. Platform Integrity
To protect the community:
- Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination
- Abuse of reporting or blocking tools may result in moderation action
- We prioritize the safety and well-being of the community over individual content visibility
- Community admins may enforce additional community-specific expectations, as long as they do not conflict with these guidelines
9. Changes to These Guidelines
We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. Continued use of Gr8ful Prayers constitutes acceptance of updates.
